My name is Josh. I’m a photographer. I have never done any form of blogging before and am quite new to this aspect of sharing my work. Hopefully this is something I can grow with and share in other peoples visions and works as well. This is just a few photos from a recent concert I shot in Asbury Park,NJ. I spent most of my life as an angry punk kid screaming at the state and getting too drunk (surprising right ?), and was fortunate enough to make some amazing friends along the way. The Bouncing Souls are an extended family for me, and have always extended open arms when I want to come photograph some shows. Recently they hosted their 3rd annual Home for the Holidays shows in New Jersey. P.O.S. and Chuck Ragan (Hot Water Music) were just a couple of the artists sharing the stage at the event. For this show i decided to leave my flash at home and shoot 50mm f/1.4 the entire show and just use the present ambient light to create the mood of the show in the pictures.
